MMGG News Metalline Mining Company Announces Appointment of Vice President Operations
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 2005--Metalline Mining Company (OTCBB:MMGG) today announced the election of Mr. Terry J. Brown as Vice President Operations. Mr. Brown is not a member of the Board of Director of the Company.
Mr. Brown graduated from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology with an honors degree in Geology in 1983. He has participated in 6 mine start-ups in the United States, Chile, and Mexico. He is fluent in Spanish and has a strong background in exploration, feasibility studies, mine development, and the legal aspects of Mexican operations. He has completed a series of progressively responsible assignments with a number of successful junior mining companies. He is a Certified Professional Geologist and a member of the Society of Exploration Geologists.
Mr. Brown was retained as a consultant in January, 2005 to act as site manager for Metalline's Sierra Mojada activities. The Company hired him as Manager of Sierra Mojada Site Operations in April 2005. He was elected to Vice President of the Company by unanimous vote of the Board of Directors effective Sept. 19, 2005.
The company believes that its management team is much strengthened by Terry's addition. In a period of intense activity in the mining industry it is pleasing to be able to attract first rate talent to the company.
