ANNARBOR, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 3, 2006--Advanced Photonix, Inc.(R) (AMEX: API), announced today that it has reached an agreement with Digi-Key Corporation (www.digikey.com) to act as a world-wide distributor for the Optosolutions standard product line.
In making the announcement, Adam Tabakian, Director of Sales for API's Optosolutions Product Platform, stated, "We are pleased to have the opportunity to utilize Digi-Key as a distributor for our standard product line. We expect this channel to complement our existing marketing segments, and increase sales through broader distribution around the world.
