API News Advanced Photonix to Hold Conference Call to Discuss Results for the Second Quarter Ended September 29, 2006

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Photonix, Inc.® (AMEX:API) will hold a conference call to discuss the Company’s results for the second quarter ended September 29, 2006 on Monday, November 13, 2006, at 5:00 PM ET. Participating in the call will be Richard (Rick) Kurtz, Chairman and CEO, and Rob Risser, CFO.

Participants can dial into the conference call at 866-314-4865 (617-213-8050 for international) using the passcode 13595880. A question and answer period will take place at the end of the discussion. The second quarter results will be announced immediately after the close of market on the same day.
