Hydra Fuel Cell Corporation (www.hydrafuelcell.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of American Security Resources Corporation (OTCBB:ARSC), announced today that it replaced grid power for a residence in Coconut Grove, Florida, with the installation of a complete HydraStax® fuel cell beta demonstration system on February 21, 2008.
Jim Twedt, President and CEO of Hydra, said, “This is our last demonstration installation. What we have learned from these beta system installations will be reflected in our commercial models. This system is more than twice as powerful as our previously installed Texas beta system, and the production models will be more powerful and compact than this system.”
The beta location and installation was arranged by Hydra’s distributor, Conexa, which arranged a demonstration and reception for local and international business interests and government officials.
