Triceratops Prospect
Type: Oil / Gas exploration well
Location: PPL 237, Eastern Papua Basin
144 degrees 48' 52" E; 006 degrees 57' 29" S
Current Status: Currently drilling 12 1/4 inch hole at 1,154
feet (352 meters), in loss circulation
zones. Geology confirms seismic
interpretation to date.
Past Activities: Drilled surface hole. Set and cemented 20
inch conductor pipe at 10 feet (3 meters).
Following the setting of conductor pipe,
drilled 17 1/2 inch hole to 381 feet (116
meters) and ran and cemented 13 3/8 inch casing
to surface. Installed the 13 3/8 inch annular
BOP and gas diverter system.
Planned Total Depth: Approximately 7,050 feet (2,150 meters)
Operator: InterOil subsidiary, SPI (210) Limited.
Prospect Description: This well is targeting the Puri fractured
limestone reservoir in an adjacent fault block
offsetting the Bwata - 1 gas discovery well.
