SYS News SYS Technologies and Mountain Valley Inc. Establish Tactical Operations Capability for Union County, PA Public Safety Agencies

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SYS Technologies (AMEX:SYS), a leading provider of information connectivity solutions for real-time, complex decision-making, and Mountain Valley, Inc. (MVI), a business development land holdings company, have agreed to establish a tactical operations capability for Union County, PA to improve emergency preparedness and response.

Mr. Gary E. Murphy, CEO of MVI recently purchased 337 acres of land and buildings in Hartley Township, Union County. Mr. Murphy plans to redevelop the complex, and has agreed to provide the tactical operations support solution which will help bring state of the art emergency response capabilities to Union County. Mr. Murphy is providing the tactical operations system complete with workstations, fileservers and software, which will be housed in a secure operational space on the MVI facility. The facility will be available for use by Union County and State of Pennsylvania Emergency Services personnel.

Congressman Don Sherwood and State Representative Russ Fairchild will lead a dedication ceremony to be held at the MVI facility in Union County on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 1:30 PM ET. General Alfred M. Gray, (retired) 29^th Commandant of the Marine Corps and an SYS board member, along with Cliff Cooke, CEO of SYS, and other SYS senior management, will attend the ceremony and present the Vigilys Tactical Operations System Software.
