UTK News UTEK Declares Dividend of $0.02 per Share

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UTEK Corporation (AMEX:UTK) (LSE-AIM:UTK), a specialty finance company focused on technology transfer, is pleased to announce that its board of directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.02 per share. The dividend is payable as follows:

          Record date:    January 12, 2007
          Payment date:   January 31, 2007

"UTEK is pleased to provide this dividend to its shareholders as a result of our performance for the first nine months of 2006," said UTEK’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Clifford M. Gross, Ph.D.
