NVMG News NAEG Donates To Local Children's Foundation

FOREST HILLS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG), an independent energy company, recently demonstrated its unique and lasting commitment to the people of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation by donating $1,525 to Steve Grey Hawk’s “We Care For The Kids Foundation Christmas Program.” The money was used to help purchase new toys for children in the Poplar area.

In the following link provided to the feature article entitled, “Oil company helps local children’s foundation” Mr. Levi Olson, Native American Energy’s liaison/public relations director, is seen presenting NAEG’s donation check, an effort which was later collectively matched by other companies such as Walmart and other local businesses. Native American Energy hosted and managed the toy give-away on December 16, 2006. The children on the reservation lined up for their toy gifts as the Company distributed toys and candy to each child. The line was over two blocks long. The local newspapers and radio stations were there filming the give-away and taking pictures.

NAEG has an active “give-back” program to the local people as the Company is doing oil & gas exploration on the reservation. Levi Olson, who joined NAEG in July of 2006, helped to choose Steve Grey Hawk’s program this year, and has been instrumental in helping NAEG to fulfill the charitable needs of reservation churches and many help organizations and groups. From 1985 -1990, Levi Olson was a Tribal Executive Board Member of the Fort Peck Tribes including chairman of the Tribal Finance Committee. He was also an active member of the Oil and Gas Committee, Natural Resources Committee and the Committee for Economic Development.

From 1992 – 1994, Mr. Olson worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs Regional Office providing Governmental Services for 6 Tribes in Montana, including the Fort Peck Tribes - Assiniboine and Sioux; the Fort Belknap Tribes - Assiniboine and Cree; the Rocky Boy Tribes - Chippewa and Cree; the Crow Tribe – Crow, the Cheyenne Tribe -Northern Cheyenne, and the Blackfeet Nation.

In August 2006, Native American Energy Group made cash donations to a number of worthy programs, including: The Lord’s Table of Wolf Point, Ft. Kipp Gospel of Ft. Kipp, Basket of Hope of Wolf Point, Poplar Head Start, Wolf Point Head Start, Wolf Point Boys & Girls Club, House of Prayer of Poplar, Gospel Light Baptist Church of Poplar, and Lindsay Memorial Church of Poplar. Mr. Olson stated that over the years oil companies have come and gone to and from the reservation, sometimes leaving a mess behind when they leave, and he feels they should give something back to help the local organizations.
