Company to Launch Ozone Tracking and Audit System
Produce Safety & Security International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PDSS) is pleased to announce that the Company plans to build its name as the leader in ozone technology, spearheading the standardization of sanitation practices in the food industry in 2008. The Company is exploring new avenues to introduce its Spherequat and Ozone products into the organic produce market, the fastest growing sector in the produce industry.Produce Safety & Security is set to launch its Ozone tracking and audit system in seaports across the United States in 2008. It is part of an ongoing effort to standardize the sterilization practices of food products imported to and exported from the United States. In 2007, the Company signed three agreements with METSS Corp, which provides innovative environmental solutions, consulting to the U.S. Navy Food Science, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Department of Energy. The agreements make Produce Safety & Security, a provider of Ozone Spray technology for the sterilization of ships and trucks that come into contact with food or produce in U.S. seaports.
Produce Safety & Security has a developed a simplified Produce Grading System for the Food Safe Produce industry. This new system provides a complete grading analysis with the audit trail tied to the Produce Safety & Security worldwide tracking system.
In 2008, Produce Safety & Security looks forward to establishing an advisory board, which will include names from both the political and private sectors. Also, the Company plans to increase its visibility within the hospitality industry in an effort to update sanitary practices in restaurants, hotels and public venues of all types.
