NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 5, 2005--Man Sang Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") (OTCBB: MSHI.OB) reports that its previously announced 5-for-4 stock split for shareholders of record on July 22, 2005 will become effective at the close of business on Friday, August 5, 2005.
On July 22, 2005, Man Sang Holding's Board of Directors approved a 5-for-4 stock split, which would increase the Company's outstanding shares of common stock to approximately 5.82 million. The Company expects that its common stock will begin trading on a post-split, consolidated basis on the American Stock Exchange on Monday, August 8, 2005.
Any fractional shares of common stock will be rounded up to the nearest whole share.
"This stock split will provide greater stability in market quotations, a broader distribution of our common shares and allow a larger number of investors to own an equity interest in Man Sang Holdings, Inc.," President and Chief Executive Officer Ricky Cheng said in a statement.
