CPL.H - TSXV NATURAL GAS IN MARCELLUS SHALE
I would like to introduce my company to everyone and express my belief in natural gas and the importance to all of us in North America.
Natural Gas is part of the White House’s game plan to help America be energy independent, environmentally responsible and less dependent on foreign oil and imported LNG.
America has an abundance of natural gas and only recently has technology allowed for these natural gas shale’s to be produced efficiently. Champlain has a vested interest in this natural gas shale’s in particular the Marcellus shale in PA.
I have been involved with the Marcellus shale for approximately 20 months. Like most companies in this global financial turmoil my company was effected as well; lack of financing for drilling, no credit facilities extended by banks. However I do feel that there is some relief and optimism in the investing market right now. In speaking with banks, they are extending credit to the bigger companies and investors are returning to the stock market. At this point in the cycle of natural gas I believe it is a great time to believe there will be economic recovery and natural gas will be used in America’s factories and electricity plants.
My company treats all landowners with respect and believes in using as many local services as possible in the counties we lease.
