The company’s product portfolio comprises ProMune (CPG 7909 Injection), which is in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of advanced nonsmall cell lung cancer, malignant melanoma, and cutaneous T cell lymphoma, both as monotherapy and as part of multidrug regimens; Actilon (CPG 10101), which is in a Phase Ib clinical trial, induces high levels of endogenous type I Interferons and is used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C infection; AVE7279 and AVE0675, which are in a Phase I clinical for respiratory diseases; and VaxImmune, which is in Phase I clinical trials, is a synthetic CpG vaccine adjuvant to enhance vaccines against certain cancers and infectious diseases. Coley Pharmaceutical has collaborations agreements with Pfizer, Inc., Sanofi-aventis, GlaxoSmithKline, and Chiron. The company was founded and was incorporated under the name CpG ImmunoPharmaceuticals, Inc. in 1997. Subsequently, the company changed its name to Coley Pharmaceutical Group, Inc. Coley Pharmaceutical Group is headquartered in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
