Thompson Creek Metals Company, Inc., through its subsidiaries, engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and operation of molybdenum properties in Canada and the United States. The company owns the Thompson Creek Mine in Idaho; a 75% interest in the Endako Mine, mill, and roasting facility in northern British Columbia; and a metallurgical roasting facility in Langeloth, Pennsylvania. It also holds interest in the Davidson Project near Smithers, British Columbia. The company produces primarily molybdenum products, including pure oxide, molybdic oxide, powder and briquettes, ferromolybdenum, and high purity molybdenum disulfide. It was formerly known as Blue Pearl Mining, Ltd. and changed its name to Thompson Creek Metals Company, Inc. in 2007. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
