Swiss Medica, Inc. markets and distributes bioscience products designed to enhance the well being and health of consumers. Bioscience products are natural compounds that have health-promoting, disease-preventing or medicinal properties. On May 16, 2003, the Company acquired certain assets of General Cosmetics Corporation, based in Munich, Germany. The assets acquired included nine patented essential oil bioscience products that have been developed for pain relief, cold sores, menstrual cramps and other ailments. All of these products comply with United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and can be sold in the United States. After the acquisition of the General Cosmetics Corporation assets, the Company changed its name, in July 2003, from Global Path Incorporated (GPI) to Swiss Medica, Inc.
