US 1 Industries, Inc. through its subsidiaries (collectively the Company), is an interstate trucking company operating in 48 states. The Company's business consists principally of a truckload operation for which it obtains a significant percentage of its business through independent agents, who then arrange with independent truckers to haul the freight to the desired destination. It carries virtually all forms of freight transported by truck, including specialized trucking services, such as containerized, refrigerated and flatbed transportation. It is primarily a non-asset based business, contracting with independent truckers who generally own the trucks they drive and independent agents.
