Inclusion on the Forbes annual list requires companies to meet a series of financial benchmarks, including annual sales criteria and profit margins of greater than 5 percent with positive sales and profit growth, on average, over both the last five years and last twelve months. "Too much debt, signs of a downturn in the future or a whiff of legal troubles are all disqualifiers," said Jack Gage and Christina Settimi of Forbes.
This is the fourth time that AAON has been honored with the listing with three previous, consecutive listings occurring 2000 through 2002.
Over the past 12 months EPS for AAON has grown by 88%, while sales have grown by 18%.
AAON is a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based manufacturer of semi-custom and custom heating and cooling products, including air handlers, condensing units, chillers, rooftop units and boilers.
