A key aspect of next-generation SDPs is that they allow third-party partners to access an operator's telecom network capabilities such as messaging, call control, charging, presence and location. With BEA WebLogic Network Gatekeeper deployed in its SDP to enforce service level agreements, SingTel can manage and control the increased partner access and can source new revenue-generating services from a larger pool of third-party content and service provider partners.
'Rapid technological change, combined with increasing consumer demand for innovative and personalized services, has created significant opportunity for the telecommunications industry.
