Magellan Health Services, Inc., a leading diversified specialty health care management organization, was recognized by the Web Marketing Association’s WebAwards for outstanding achievement in Web site development. This is the third consecutive year that the company’s behavioral health member and provider Web sites have been honored.
At this year’s annual WebAwards, Magellan was recognized with the following awards:
- Health Care Standard of Excellence Award in the Health Care Web Site Development category for its behavioral health member Web site, www.MagellanHealth.com/Member.
- Health Care Standard of Excellence Award in the Health Care Web Site Development category for its behavioral health portal devoted to serving practitioners, www.MagellanHealth.com/Provider.
Now in its 11th year, the WebAwards is an annual Web site award competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all Web site development. More than 2,300 Web site entries from 35 countries are evaluated and judged based on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation and use of technology.
