SVNT News Savient Pharmaceuticals to Hold Fourth Quarter and Year End Financial Results Conference Call on Wednesday, March 14, 2007

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Savient Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:SVNT) announced today that the company will release financial results for the fourth quarter and year end 2006 following the close of the market on Tuesday, March 13, 2007.

Christopher Clement, president and chief executive officer, and Brian Hayden, chief financial officer, will host an investment community conference call beginning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on March 14, 2007 to discuss these results and to answer questions.
