REDI News Remote Dynamics Signs 60 New REDIview Customers Growing REDIview Base to over 4,000 Units in Q2; Leading Mobile Resource Management Solution Helps Customers Cut Costs and Increase Productivity

RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 26, 2005--Remote Dynamics, Inc. (Nasdaq:REDI), a leading provider of mobile resource management solutions for commercial fleets, announced it has signed 60 new REDIview(TM) customers in the second calendar quarter bringing the total REDIview vehicle units sold since the January, 2005 product launch to over 4,000. Remote Dynamics believes that REDIview has gained increased market acceptance across multiple verticals such as construction, communications, energy, HVAC, and produce since its introduction in January of this year.

Remote Dynamics' REDIview solution is a complete suite of mobile resource management solutions created for managing and maintaining commercial fleets, providing businesses across North America affordable access to enterprise-level telematics designed to cut costs and improve operations, regardless of fleet or mobile workforce size.

Global Textile located in Dalton, Georgia recently purchased REDIview units for a portion of their fleet of delivery trucks. "We switched from another mobile tracking product which required proprietary equipment to access vehicle data and moved to REDIview which allows us to view our information on any laptop or computer that has access to the Internet," said Mike Trotter, traffic manager at Global Textile. "My total cost per truck is only $2 or $3 a day, and I easily recover those costs with more efficient operations such as less truck idle time."

Pacific Coast Fruit, one of the largest independent wholesale produce distributors on the West Coast, purchased REDIview for their fleet of produce distribution trucks. "Remote Dynamics provides us with an automated and accurate way to monitor our drivers' daily activity," said Tim Simnitt, director of transportation at Pacific Coast Fruit. "We have the capability to run detailed reports to track driver productivity, ensuring continuous on-time customer deliveries. We can also run cost analysis on our routes which enables us to minimize labor costs and decrease fuel consumption while increasing our business as a company."

"We have completed our second calendar quarter of the REDIview solution rollout and are extremely pleased with the feedback from our customers citing the extensive functionality and ROI generated from the use of the products," said Joe Pollard, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Remote Dynamics. "We believe our installed base of over 120 customers is market validation that the REDIview solution delivers value at a price/performance point acceptable to the market. With REDIview, customers can truly drive down fleet operating costs and gain more insight into their business processes thereby enhancing service and delivery to their customers."
