CDWC News CDW Ranks # 1 on the 2006 ''Vendor Value Study'' by CIO Insight
VERNON HILLS, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CDW Corporation (NASDAQ:CDWC), a leading provider of technology products
and services to businesses, government and education, has been ranked
first on CIO Insight’s 4th
annual “Vendor Value Study,”
a ranking of the most important information technology vendors by value,
reliability and loyalty.
“Answering our customers’
questions quickly and efficiently and meeting their daily needs is our
primary goal,” said John A. Edwardson,
chairman and chief executive officer, CDW. “Whether
it’s the personal touch of the account
manager, our extranet tool that helps customers stay current on their
software licenses or simply our enhanced CDW.com search engine,
everything we do revolves around getting our customers the solutions
they need, when they need them.”
CDW was included on the “Vendor Value Study”
this year as a result of suggestions offered by respondents to the 2005
survey. In its first year on the list, CDW ranked first in key
categories, including: meeting time and budget commitments, and
remaining flexible and responsive.
CIO Insight magazine's “Vendor Value
Survey” asks U.S.-based IT executives how
they perceive the value of their vendors' product and service offerings,
as well as their overall satisfaction with the support these vendors
provide. Scores are calculated from respondents’
ranking of companies in seven categories of satisfaction. The full
ranking is available online at http://www.cioinsight.com/article2/0,1540,2068336,00.asp.
For CDW, the top ranking on CIO Insight’s Top
40 Vendor Value in 2006 list is the latest of numerous honors achieved
by the company.
CDW is listed at No. 34 on FORTUNE magazine’s “100
