ISLLC filed its original claims against Immersion in October 2004 in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. After defeating ISLLC’s claims for a share of the proceeds Immersion received from the lawsuit against Sony Computer Entertainment and Microsoft, the only claims remaining in the latest action were Immersion's counterclaims against ISLLC. Trial was set to begin on September 15, 2008.
