'Hands-On Social Media' session coming to Denver on June 12 and June 13.

What: Feeling lost in the 'tweetosphere'? Ever wanted to create a knockout birthday card for a friend, using a free online template? Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office Live are teaming up with Kirtsy (http://www.kirtsy.com) to host 'Hands-On Social Media,' a two-hour crash course for women that is all about taking advantage of social media, software and services to improve their tech knowledge and get ahead in today's 2.0 society.

These free seminars, sponsored by Microsoft Office, will focus on online sharing services, software for creating great-looking documents and presentations, as well as social media and networking tools. The training consists of four sessions, including one that will highlight free Microsoft Office (http://www.office.microsoft.com) and Microsoft Office Live (http://www.officelive.com) services as tools for women to do more with technology. Who: The sessions will be taught by Kirtsy partners and trainers, including Gwen Bell, who was named one of the 50 most powerful women in social media by Immediate Influence.
