SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AVANIR Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AVNR) will webcast its quarterly
conference call on Monday, December 11, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific /
11:00 a.m. Eastern. The call will be webcast live through AVANIR's
corporate website at www.avanir.com
and will feature Eric Brandt, President and Chief Executive Officer, and
Michael Puntoriero, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. A
press release announcing the fourth quarter 2006 financial results will
be released prior to the conference call the same day.
As of September 30, 2006, the Company estimates its unaudited cash and
investments totaled approximately $24 million. For the fiscal year ended
September 30, 2006, the Company estimates its unaudited operating loss
will range between $60 - $65 million.
