NYMX News Nymox Pharmaceutical to Present at the 29th Annual Westergaard SmallCap Conference
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation (NASDAQ: NYMX) announced today that Dr.
Paul Averback, CEO of Nymox Pharmaceutical, will present at the 29th
Annual Westergaard SmallCap Conference on Monday, November 6, 2006. The
conference is being held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City and is
being hosted by Paulson Investment Company and Dutton Associates.
Dr. Averback will provide an overview of the Company's recent progress
in drug development. The Company recently announced positive efficacy
and safety results from its Phase 2 trial of NX-1207, its new drug for
enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH), a common
affliction of older men. Forty-three clinical trial sites across the
U.S. and 175 subjects participated in the double-blind, placebo
controlled trial. Overall, patients treated with NX-1207 showed a
significant improvement in BPH symptom score as compared to placebo and
as compared to reported symptom score improvements for currently
approved drugs for BPH. The results of the trial also demonstrated an
excellent safety and side effect profile for NX-1207.
