AirTran Airways Toasts 10-Year Partnership with Cramer-Krasselt for Marketing, Public Relations and Advertising Services
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today celebrates the 10-year anniversary of its marketing, public relations and advertising partnership with Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago.
'As AirTran Airways has grown to nearly $2 billion in annual revenue over the past decade, C-K has been right there every step of the way,' said Tad Hutcheson, AirTran Airways' vice president of marketing and sales. 'C-K is comprised of innovative, strategic thinkers with a tremendous amount of professionalism and creativity.'
The long-tenured relationship between AirTran Airways and C-K has produced a great deal of success, and some memorable firsts: AirTran Airways and C-K developed the first online video game starring Indy Car(R) Series driver Danica Patrick, which launched this past April on AirTranRaceway.com. CKPR produced The Color Purple as the first in-flight Broadway musical on AirTran Airways' inaugural flight from Chicago to New York in 2006. Other successful C-K-aided promotions include the Elton John/XM Satellite Radio launch, the Wendy's-Coca Cola Roundtrip Refreshment Offer and the marketing of AirTran Airways' affordable Business Class.
'C-K does an excellent job of combining the interests of our corporate sponsorships with our marketing objectives,' said Hutcheson.
The two companies have had an intensely integrated relationship since the beginning. More than just a marketing partner, the account teams at C-K and CKPR are involved with projects ranging from aircraft livery design to the execution of shareholder meetings.
'Our requirements are constantly changing, and C-K and CKPR are adeptly able to go with the flow while being very accommodating and flexible,' said Hutcheson. 'C-K knows our corporate culture, target markets, and brand management goals inside and out.'
Four new TV spots developed by C-K premiered in May, 2007. The spots are part of AirTran Airways' long-running Go campaign that uses humor to break down consumers' barriers to travel with fares that make it easy to get up and go, whether it's for business or leisure.
'Our work with AirTran Airways is a shining example of what happens when agencies and clients gel,' said Peter Krivkovich, president and CEO of Cramer-Krasselt. 'Whether it's advertising, interactive marketing, public relations, media or design, there have been no boundaries on the work C-K does for AirTran. We treasure our relationship with this incredibly talented marketing team and look forward to celebrating with them again in 2017.'
