AirTran Airways Customers Affected by Winter Storms May Change Travel Plans Without Penalty
ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a

to a severe weather system forecast to move across the Midwest and Northeast
on Dec. 15 through 17, 2007, some flights may be cancelled or rescheduled.
The following cities are likely to be affected: Canton/Akron and Dayton,
Ohio; Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Penn.; Buffalo, Newburgh, Rochester, White
Plains and New York (LaGuardia), N.Y.; Newark, N.J.; Boston, Mass., and
Portland, Maine.
Passengers holding reservations for travel scheduled for Dec. 15 through
17, to/from these destinations, should check http://www.airtran.com under
'Flight Status' for updates or call 1-800-AIRTRAN (247-8726). AirTran Airways
passengers can change their schedules without penalty as long as the selected
travel dates are made prior to the original travel date and moved to within
three days following the original scheduled departure date. Passengers
traveling to, from or through affected cities may also cancel their travel
plans and place the remaining balance in a credit account for use up to one
year from original date of purchase, and the cancellation fee will be waived.
