ABS News SUPERVALU Terminates Transaction Discussions with Albertsons
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 2005--SUPERVALU (NYSE:SVU) announced today that it and Albertson's, Inc. (NYSE:ABS) have mutually agreed to terminate all discussions regarding an acquisition of Albertsons by a consortium of investors which included SUPERVALU.
