Mr. Jack Donohue, ENSR Vice President of Hydrogeology and Water Resources, will be one of five industry experts to speak at the International Bottled Water Association’s (IBWA) 2007 convention in Las Vegas, Thursday Oct. 18, 2007. The IBWA 2007 Convention, Oct. 15 – 17, Las Vegas (Nev.) Hilton, is the premier bottled water industry event of the year. Donohue will speak on the convention’s Environmental Issues Panel, which features speakers on key environmental issues that the industry is addressing. His presentation will focus on sustainable source-water management practices from the supply-chain and environmental perspectives - including a review of proactive measures that bottlers and water-source owners can implement.
“Source-water issues are a key concern of the bottled water and other industries,” said Donohue. “Sustainable outcomes require pro-active, science-based approaches.”
A licensed professional geologist with over 25 years of experience, Donohue is affiliated with several professional geological and hydrological associations and has published numerous articles on hydrogeology and water regulations.
