AMLIN plc
VOTING RIGHTS AND SHARE CAPITAL
In accordance with the Transparency Directive’s
transitional provision 6, Amlin plc (“Amlin”)
updates the market that its issued capital as at today consists of
534,006,720 ordinary shares of 25p each fully paid. The voting rights of
all these shares are identical, with each share carrying the right to
one vote. Amlin holds no treasury shares.
The increase in shares in issue since Amlin’s
previous update announcement results from recent exercises of share
options. Such issues are included within current block listings granted
by the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange.
The above figure of 534,006,720 may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they
are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest
in, Amlin under the FSA’s Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
