NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 31, 2006--On Thursday, August 31, 2006, the Board of Directors of Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund, Inc. (NYSE: DSM) declared from net investment income a monthly cash dividend of $0.043 per share of common stock, payable on October 2, 2006 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 15, 2006. The ex-dividend date is September 13, 2006. The previous dividend declared in July was $0.043 per share of common stock.
