HHS News Harte-Hanks Announces Corporate Appointments, Three Promoted to Executive Vice President
SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Harte-Hanks, Inc., (NYSE:HHS) announced the promotions of Dean Blythe,
Kathy Calta and Gary Skidmore, each to the position of executive vice
president. With the promotions, effective immediately, Harte-Hanks now
has four executive vice presidents within its organization. Blythe, 48,
is chief financial officer of Harte-Hanks, Inc. Calta, 48, serves as the
leader of the company's linked U.S. based direct marketing solutions.
Skidmore, 52, also in direct marketing, leads all international
operations of the company in addition to a group of specialized services
including market research, high technology data and data quality
software. He is also responsible for Direct Marketing corporate
development, human resources and marketing.
All three had been corporate officers, senior vice presidents. Blythe,
Calta and Skidmore join Pete Gorman as executive vice president. Gorman,
who serves as president and chief executive officer of Harte-Hanks
Shoppers, was promoted to this officer position in September 2005.
Richard Hochhauser, president and chief executive officer, said, “All
three of these senior Harte-Hanks executives, along with Pete Gorman who
heads our Shopper organization, have played key roles in the management
of the company during the past five years. And they will also be key as
the company gets positioned for its next generation of management. This

Hochhauser continued, "Dean Blythe's promotion is in recognition of the
major contributions he has made to our company in both the legal and
financial areas as well as his influence on the operations side of the
businesses. Kathy Calta, who is leading our efforts on customer
optimization, will continue to head our U.S. based Database Marketing
Services (DMS) group – which now includes our
Postfuture e-mail operation – in addition to
the wide range of U.S. based marketing services operations. In essence,
she will head all of our linked domestic operations. Gary Skidmore, who
is responsible for Direct Marketing corporate development and is a
member of the investor relations team, will manage the remainder of
Direct Marketing, which includes Trillium Software, Global Address,
CiTDB, Aberdeen and all international operations, the expansion of which
he has lead over the past years. He will add to his responsibilities the
National Markets Organization.
