IHS News IHS Appoints Daniel Yergin as Executive Vice President and Strategic Advisor
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. & CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IHS Inc. (NYSE:IHS) -- a leading global provider of critical technical
information, decision-support tools, and strategic services -- today
announced that Daniel Yergin, Chairman of Cambridge Energy Research
Associates (CERA), has been appointed as Executive Vice President and
Strategic Advisor for IHS.
Yergin, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Prize: The Epic
Quest for Oil, Money and Power, will continue in his leadership role
as Chairman of Cambridge Energy Research Associates, an IHS Company,
which provides analysis and insight into the energy future. In addition,
he will become a member of the IHS executive leadership team reporting
to Jerre Stead, Chairman and CEO, and will be a key advisor to the
company.
