ISE News ISEE Select(TM) Enhancements Improve Functionality
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The International Securities Exchange (NYSE: ISE) today announced the launch of an enhanced version of ISEE Select™, its customized sentiment data offering. New features include the ability to chart intraday and historical sentiment values as well as the capability to download the historical values for further analysis. These modifications respond to the most popular requests for additional functionality from current ISEE Select subscribers.
ISE also announced that it has expanded the ISEE Select marketing alliance to reach a broader audience of investors. Alliance partners now include brokerage firms as well as providers of investment research and tools. New members of the ISEE Select marketing alliance are OptionsDevil, Schaeffer’s Investment Research, SentimenTrader, and Terra Nova Financial, LLC. Existing alliance partners include Interactive Brokers LLC, optionsXpress, Inc., and CyberTrader Inc., the direct access subsidiary of The Charles Schwab Corp. Alliance partners will provide a special promotional code to their clients so they will receive a discounted subscription fee when signing up for ISEE Select. Subscriptions are also available through the ISE website.
Introduced in October 2006, ISEE Select is an intuitive web-based tool that calculates sentiment values for individual securities and industry sectors based on proprietary ISE trade data. Unlike the traditional put/call ratio, the ISEE Select sentiment calculation includes only opening long ISE customer transactions. The result is that ISEE Select’s sentiment index calculation may provide a more accurate reflection of true investor sentiment since trading activity by market makers and proprietary desks can often skew a sentiment value.
ISEE Select offers both a scanning tool and a query tool. Additional discounts are now available to subscribers that sign up for both tools and for annual subscriptions. To sign-up for a free trial of ISEE Select, or for more information on the marketing alliance, please visit www.iseoptions.com/isee.
