Putnam Premier Income Trust
The per-share net asset value (NAV) for Putnam Premier Income Trust
(PPT) was $7.16 as of the close of business on October 31, 2006. The
per-share NAV for this fund was $7.02, as of July 31, 2006. The share
price as traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on October 31,
2006 was $6.24. The share price for this fund was $6.02, as of July 31,
2006. The fund’s total return for the three
months ended October 31, 2006 was 3.47%, based on net asset value, and
5.16% based on NYSE share price.
