SCD News LMP Capital and Income Fund Inc. Adds New Board Member
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LMP Capital and Income Fund Inc. (NYSE:SCD) announced today the appointment of Paolo M. Cucchi to the Fund’s Board of Directors effective March 5, 2007.
Mr. Cucchi is Vice President and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Drew University. He serves as a Director of 23 closed-end investment management companies affiliated with Legg Mason Partners Fund Advisor, LLC, the Funds’ investment adviser.
Mr. Cucchi was appointed to serve as a Class I Director of the Fund to hold office until the Annual Meeting of Stockholders in the year 2009 or thereafter when a successor is duly elected and qualified by holders of the Fund’s common stock.
