American Medical Technologies Announces Project with Becton, Dickinson and Company
American Medical Technologies, Inc. ("AMT") (OTCBB:ADLI) announced today that Becton, Dickinson and Company ("BD"), a leading global medical technology company, has contracted with AMT's industrial division, Texas Airsonics, to upgrade its current inventory of Texas Airsonics systems.
BD uses these systems almost exclusively, to prepare, clean, and polish the needles in their process. BD is ranked third overall in the medical products and equipment industry and received the industry's top ranking for quality of products and services.
Roger W. Dartt, President and Chief Executive Officer of AMT states, "We are pleased that AMT's air abrasion and Hydrobrasion(TM) continue to be recognized as valuable technology in the medical industry. This agreement will be beneficial to both AMT and BD."
AMT develops, manufactures and markets high-technology products designed primarily for general dentistry that are a dramatic alternative to the shot and drill. AMT has patented the method whereby dentists can remove tooth decay by means of air, water and micro particles combined to form an effective slurry that safely removes dental tooth structure and tooth decay utilizing minimally invasive dentistry. The KCP(TM) product line and recently introduced Hydrobrasion(TM) technology lessens patient sensitivity and may be used to treat a patient without anesthesia.
