OREM, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 17, 2005--Aradyme Corp. (OTCBB: ADYE), a next-generation database company, today announced it will provide data migration services to Covansys Corp. (NASDAQ: CVNS) for the State of Nevada under the master services agreement executed by the parties on Nov. 17, 2004.
Aradyme will provide the data migration services needed to consolidate the state's 17 county voter registration databases into a single statewide system. These services are made possible by the flexibility of Aradyme's underlying Dynamic-Schema Engine(TM) database technology, along with automated migration tools including the Data Migration Navigator(TM) and Data Extractor(TM).

Covansys was selected by the State of Nevada as the primary contractor to implement the Nevada Statewide Voter Registration System (NSVRS), with Aradyme a named subcontractor in this effort. The new system will allow the state to comply with requirements mandated by the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA).

Under the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002, each state is required to establish and maintain a single, central, uniform, official and interactive computerized statewide voter registration database defined, maintained, and administered at the state level. The database is expected to contain the name and registration information of every legally registered voter in the state. The act also requires the appropriate state or local election official to update the data in this repository on a regular basis. In an effort to support these endeavors, the federal government will award more than $3 billion to the 50 states through 2006. The deadline for states to implement a HAVA-compliant computerized statewide voter registration database is Jan. 1, 2006.
