A hidden benefit
If the filter system is FDA approved there could be a number of benefits. Lets assume that it doesn't clean out all of the nasty bugs and big pharma has to come in and add some of their snake oil to cure people.
At present to cure people of Hep C takes at least 26 weeks ,,,,with a new booster drug that is added. The treatment can cost up to 5000 a month....and live is hell 3 days a week for the patient. If the filter can get it down to 1-2 months the patient will benefit greatly because of the decrease in time in hell and lower costs.
