AGT Wins Second R&D 100 Award
Atmospheric Glow Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:AGWT)(AGT) has received a coveted R&D 100 Award for the PlasmaGen APR-510-S, AGT's first product in the biotechnology sector. The PlasmaGen APR-510-S is an instrument for the laboratory benchtop that releases DNA from all types of microorganisms including bacterial endospores. By providing the user a simple straightforward means to extract DNA, time-intensive multistep processes that often rely on hazardous chemicals are avoided. Suzanne South, AGT's Director of Biodevelopment, says, "The PlasmaGen APR-510-S offers time- and money-saving advantages over existing methods that make it a truly competitive addition to the marketplace."
This breakthrough product will be showcased in R&D Magazine's September 2005 issue and will be on display during the gala awards ceremony to be held October 20, 2005 at Chicago's Navy Pier. AGT is actively developing a sales and marketing campaign for the PlasmaGen APR-510-S and has placed product as far away as Japan.

Atmospheric Glow Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: AGWT) (AGT) has been awarded a SBIR Phase II contract for $750,000 by the United States Air Force to demonstrate flight control of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) using its patented plasma actuator technology. This contract builds upon previous awards, and according to the project director, Dr. Alan Wintenberg, "Plasma actuators have the potential to revolutionize the ways in which UAVs are constructed, deployed and used."

Atmospheric Glow Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:AGWT)(AGT) announces it has expanded its current facilities by over 90% to meet the demands of ongoing growth. The newly acquired space adjacent to its current facility will provide office space, state-of-the-art laboratories for developing new plasma-based products and carrying out government contracts and product assembly areas. As part of its expansion, AGT has also added a machine shop to produce components for prototype devices and products. Furthermore, AGT has received its second training grant from The Development Corporation of Knox County through the County's Manufacturing Skills Program for increasing advanced machining, mechanical and electrical skills for AGT's technicians.
