The appointment of Doug Stowers as National Sales Executive and Michael Lester as IT Solutions Specialist, gives Artemis a competitive advantage in pursuing and supporting the IT management and governance needs of companies around the world. The expansion of the IT Management Solutions team follows on the heels of a significant IT Financial Management Excellence award garnered by Artemis customer, Chicago Mercantile Exchange at the recent IT Financial Management Week conference. Awarded first prize for Best IT Project Portfolio Management Structure, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the largest futures exchange in the United States, used Artemis' IT Management Solution.

New IT Management Solutions Team Members
With more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software, Doug Stowers joins Artemis as national sales executive from IBM-Systemcorp, where he was the senior account manager for the Western United States and Western Canada. Prior to IBM, Stowers was a major account manager for Xybernaut Corporation, manufacturer mobile devices. Stowers also held sales positions for Business Engine Software Corporation, Lucas Industries and Metier Management Systems. At Artemis, Stowers is responsible for sales of the Artemis IT Management solution to major corporations across North America.
Michael Lester brings over 15 years of experience in the software industry to Artemis. Joining as an IT solutions specialist, Lester will be responsible for supporting the sales of the Artemis ITM solution across North America. Most recently, Lester served as senior product manager for Pacific Edge Software, where he was responsible for the company's project portfolio management software. Prior to this, Lester worked in a variety of technical and support positions at Buildnet, Inc. and Franklin-Covey.
Chicago Mercantile Exchange Wins Prestigious Award for Portfolio Management Excellence
Using Artemis' IT management solution, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange runs a comprehensive application that provides centralized budgeting, improved resource planning and scenario planning. The exchange was awarded first prize for Best IT Project Portfolio Management Structure at the IT Financial Management Week Conference held in early March.
The IT Financial Management Excellence Awards was established to honor, recognize and promote IT Financial Management people and processes that demonstrate true best practices. IT Financial Management Institute assembled experts and leaders in the field to identify and assess these top companies, people and processes.
Other Artemis customers using the company's IT Management solution include Moneygram, France Telecom, La Poste, AXA Life Insurance, Sony, Hitachi, Credit Lyonnais, and Pfizer. Each of these customers will benefit directly from the newly expanded ITM team at Artemis, allowing them to quickly assess new technologies and solutions from the company.
