Briggs & Stratton Renews Exclusive Agreement with ARI

Renewal of Agreement a Testament to the Strength of ARI Products and Services

ARI (OTCBB:ARIS Stock Forums), a leading provider of technology-enabled business solutions that help equipment dealers, distributors and manufacturers build sales and profits, today announced that Briggs & Stratton Corporation (NASDAQ:BRG) of Milwaukee, Wis., has renewed its licenses for ARI’s suite of products and services, including PartSmart® and PartSmart Web™, electronic parts catalogs for CD and Web respectively and PartSmart Data Manager™ and PartSmart Data Publisher™, publishing software.

Under the three-year exclusive agreement, Briggs & Stratton will continue to publish the Briggs & Stratton, Briggs & Stratton Power Products, Ferris, Giant Vac, Murray, Simplicity, Snapper and Snapper Pro catalogs using PartSmart Data Manager and PartSmart Data Publisher. In addition, Briggs will continue to use PartSmart and PartSmart Web to deploy their parts catalogs to their dealers and distributors worldwide.

“Over the past two decades, ARI’s products and services have not only met, but have exceeded the needs and expectations of our network of 80,000 service and distribution points worldwide. ARI’s strong commitment and understanding of the needs of outdoor power manufacturers, dealers and distributors and its more than 20-year history in the industry makes ARI a powerful partner for Briggs,” said Bruce Radcliff, director customer solutions of Briggs & Stratton.

“ARI has been able to grow with us to provide additional products and services as our requirements changed. When we first started working with ARI in 1997, we were only using a CD-Rom parts catalog. As our needs and the needs of our dealers and distributors changed, we added PartSmart Web, Shopping Cart, PartSmart Data Manager and PartSmart Publisher. PartSmart Data Manager and PartSmart Data Publisher have made it possible for us to publish catalog updates at our discretion — virtually daily — and at the same time, reduce costs,” added Radcliff. “In addition, ARI played an instrumental role in the successful development and deployment of eParts (PartSmart Web), which is the best and most highly accessed web application on the Briggs PowerPortal website.”

“Briggs & Stratton’s decision to renew their agreement with ARI is a testament to the strength of our products and services,” said Brian E. Dearing, chairman and chief executive officer of ARI. “We are very proud to have Briggs as one of our valued customers and of the excellent working relationship that we have developed with them. We are committed to providing Briggs & Stratton, their dealers and distributors with the services they need to be successful in this ever-changing marketplace,” added Dearing.
