ARIS News STIHL Incorporated Continues Relationship with ARI for PartSmart(R)
MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ARI (OTCBB:ARIS), a leading provider of technology-enabled business
solutions that help equipment dealers, distributors and manufacturers
build sales and profits, today announced that STIHL Incorporated of
Virginia Beach, VA, will continue to support the use of PartSmart, ARI’s
electronic parts catalog, by its U.S. dealer and distributor network.
“Earlier this year, when STIHL indicated its
intention to use a different product to deliver parts information, our
dealers told us they were very satisfied with PartSmart and wanted to
continue using the product,” said Randy
Scully, product service manager for STIHL Incorporated. “After
further consideration, we decided that dealers in the U.S. would be best
served if we supported their use of PartSmart, a tool that they have
been successfully using for more than 10 years. We believe that this
decision will not only benefit our company, but our dealers,
distributors and their respective customers,”
added Scully.
“We are very pleased to continue our
relationship with STIHL for the U.S. market. We believe that our deep
commitment and long experience in the Outdoor Power Industry, financial
strength and stability, and an ever-improving and expanding product
suite have enabled ARI to become the de facto standard in the industry,”
said Brian E. Dearing, chairman and chief executive officer of ARI. “We
look forward to continuing to add value to the STIHL dealer and
distributor network by making it easy for them to look up and order the
STIHL parts they need,” said Dearing.
