ARIS News Stens Corporation Selects ARI's PartSmart(R) Electronic Parts Catalog
MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ARI (OTCBB:ARIS), a leading provider of technology-enabled business
solutions that help equipment dealers, distributors and manufacturers
build sales and profits, announced today that Stens Corporation of
Jasper, IN has selected ARI’s PartSmart®
electronic parts catalog for use by their more than 50,000 dealers
worldwide and their internal help desk. Stens supplies replacement parts
and accessories to more than 50,000 dealers worldwide through its U.S.
and International distribution network and is a respected member of the
Outdoor Power Equipment Aftermarket Association. Stens Corporation is a
subsidiary of Ariens Company, a manufacturer of premier lawn and garden
equipment.
Under the agreement, ARI will manage, convert, distribute and support
Stens’ ARI electronic parts catalog. ARI and
Stens are currently working to complete the initial data conversion and
publication of the PartSmart catalog which will include the complete
line of Stens brand parts, including Firecracker, Elite 400, Mega-Fire,
StenMix, The Edge, True Blue belts and the Platinum blade series. In
addition, the complete line of replacement parts, including air filters,
belts, blades, lubricants as well as replacements parts for chain saws,
lawnmowers and snowthrowers will also be available. The first catalog is
expected to be available in early Spring and will be updated quarterly.
