ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Atlanta based ASSURANCEAMERICA CORPORATION (OTC BB: ASAM), today announced additions to its leadership.

The Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Courtney Wright to President of TrustWay Insurance, its retail subsidiary, effective immediately. Courtney joined AssuranceAmerica in September 2006 as Senior Vice President Sales for the MGA/Carrier following a twenty-five year career at Allstate.

In order for the Company to give greater emphasis and focus on insurance agency acquisitions, Jim Cook, President of Trustway Insurance, has accepted the responsibility to lead the Company's efforts to acquire as well as manage large acquisitions over the coming years.

In announcing these promotions and additions, Lawrence (Bud) Stumbaugh, President and CEO of AssuranceAmerica Corporation said, "These additions will allow our company to give more focus on retail acquisitions.
