CBXC News Cimbix Corp. Announces Appointment of New Directors
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 2006--Cimbix Corp. ("Cimbix" or the "Company") (OTCBB:CBXC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Max Weissengruber, Mark Miziolek and Ronald Moodie as members of the Board of Directors.
As announced on July 17, 2006, Cimbix entered into a worldwide licensing agreement with Wataire Industries Inc. ("Wataire") (Pink Sheets:WTAF), a manufacturer of atmospheric water generators. As part of the terms of the agreement, Wataire has the right to nominate up to five individuals to serve as members of the Board of Directors of the Company. Wataire will also furnish the Company with training, management expertise and other marketing-related literature and materials.
Max Weissengruber has been the President of Wataire Industries Inc. since May 2006. He was a founding President and Chief Executive Officer of International Development Corp., a distributor of water treatment systems using ozone, ultra violet and water activation technologies. As President, he established distribution channels for the company in both Central and South America, countries which are the priority areas for the sale of Wataire's activation water generators. His international water treatment experience on top of his lengthy background as a management consultant with KPMG (specializing in small- to medium-sized business development) will be of great assistance to Cimbix's future growth strategies.
Mr. Miziolek has been a director of Wataire Industries Inc. since June 2006. He was previously a director of Wataire Industries from June 2005 to March 2006. He has over 20 years of general business and financial management experience and has served in capacities as director and chief financial officer for several publicly traded companies. As a designated accountant, Mr. Miziolek provides consulting services for companies to develop business plans and analyze acquisitions and divestitures with the objective of creating shareholder value. His previous experience includes serving as president of a real estate investment company, completing successful restructurings and serving as a senior financial officer of a large shipping company. Mr. Miziolek will bring broad financial experience to the Company's board of directors.
Since June 2005, Ron Moodie has been a Director of Wataire Industries Inc., and since April 2006, he has been their Corporate Secretary. He has over 40 years of management and corporate governance experience. Mr. Moodie has been self-employed since late 1989 providing management and investment services to commercial real estate developers, as well as to heavy equipment suppliers in the railways and construction industries. Over the last 8 years, he has served as an officer & director of public companies. Mr. Moodie's management experience will greatly assist in Cimbix's future business plans.
