CMSF News CaminoSoft Named One of Los Angeles' Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 10, 2005--CaminoSoft Corp. (OTCBB:CMSF), a leading provider of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions for Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 and Novell NetWare & GroupWise environments, has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Los Angeles, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services firms. Scheduled to be announced at the Los Angeles awards dinner on September 13, 2005, Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 rankings are based on percentage of revenue growth over five years (2000-2004).
Mike Skelton, CEO of CaminoSoft, credits commitment to technology excellence, alliances with industry-leading partners, and international market expansion with the company's fast growth over the past five years. He said, "CaminoSoft's advanced storage management solutions add significant value to Microsoft and Novell operating systems. By continually enhancing our application feature set and maintaining strict O/S partner certification on these platforms, we have been able to successfully integrate our solutions with those of industry leaders such as CA, EMC, IBM, HP, and HDS. As a result of establishing these key alliances and marketing our solutions through a worldwide team of premier channel partners, CaminoSoft has experienced solid growth and demand for its software products. We are very pleased to be acknowledged and named to Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program."
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, a company must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2000 and $1,000,000 in 2004, must be public or private and headquartered in North America, and must be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.
"Deloitte's Los Angeles Technology Fast 50 companies have shown the strength, vision, and temerity to succeed in today's very competitive technology environment," said Tim Lovoy, Partner, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche LLP. "We applaud the successes of CaminoSoft and acknowledge their place as one of the very few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past five years."
Winners of the 15 regional Technology Fast 50 Programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered into Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 Program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest-growing technology companies. For more information, visit www.fast500.com.
