CMSF News CaminoSoft Named Los Angeles' 18th Fastest Growing Technology Company in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 2005--CaminoSoft Corp. (OTCBB:CMSF), a leading provider of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions for Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 and Novell NetWare & GroupWise environments, was named as the 18th fastest-growing company in the Los Angeles area in Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services firms. Announced at the Los Angeles awards dinner on September 13, 2005, Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 rankings are based on percentage of revenue growth over five years (2000-2004).
Mike Skelton, CEO of CaminoSoft, credits commitment to technology excellence, alliances with industry-leading partners, and international market expansion with the company's fast growth over the past five years. He said, "CaminoSoft's Information Lifecycle Management solutions provide unique and important value for Microsoft and Novell network environments. Through continual feature set enhancement and rigorous partner certification on these platforms, we have been able to successfully integrate our solutions with those of industry leaders such as Computer Associates, EMC, IBM, HP, and Hitachi Data Systems. By establishing these key alliances and marketing our solutions through global channel partners, CaminoSoft has experienced solid growth and demand for its software products. We are very pleased to be recognized by Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program as the 18th fastest-growing company in the Los Angeles area."
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, a company must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2000 and $1,000,000 in 2004, must be public or private and headquartered in North America, and must be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.
"To rank on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50, companies must have phenomenal revenue growth over five years," said Tim Lovoy, Partner, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche LLP. "CaminoSoft has proven to be one of the fast-growth success stories in Los Angeles, and we applaud their vision and dedication to making their vision reality."
Winners of the 15 regional Technology Fast 50 Programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered into Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 Program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest-growing technology companies. For more information, visit www.fast500.com.
