CNSC News rehearsals.com Debuts Exclusive Performance of American Idol Winner Taylor Hicks on Friday, October 20, 2006
BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CenterStaging Corp. (OTCBB:CNSC)-American Idol winner Taylor
Hicks provides a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse of his working methods
exclusively on rehearsals.com, CenterStaging’s
online digital portal powered by MLB.com. Starting on October 20th,
fans can stream footage of Taylor as he rehearses both “What’s
Going On” and his original track “Hell
of a Day” in preparation for a benefit
appearance.
Taylor Hicks and his band arrived at the state-of-the-art CenterStaging
studios in early October to tape the exclusive segment for rehearsals.com.
These private rehearsals were recorded in high-definition utilizing 10
robotically controlled cameras and 48 microphones with up to 96
individual channels of audio. After reviewing all the footage, both “What’s
Going On’ and “Hell
of a Day” were chosen to premiere on rehearsals.com.
"It's a process to come out of the shell and present yourself how you
are most comfortable in terms of performance," says Taylor. "Allowing
fans to see a bit of it happen is really great. I am totally comfortable
in welcoming rehearsals.com in for a sneak peak."
“Taylor Hicks’
energy, warmth and tremendous talent shine with this performance. The
Soul Patrol is in for a treat and we welcome their participation on our
site,” states Tommy Nast, Executive Vice
President, CenterStaging. “Taylor Hicks will
be a star for years to come as he and the American Idol franchise are
synonymous with unparalleled musical success!”
Taylor Hicks joins a prestigious line-up of talent currently showcasing
live footage on rehearsals.com, including Tom Petty, Chris
Isaak, Edgar Winter and The Panic Channel. In addition, the site
showcases “e-merging”
artists such as Dark New Day, Sick Puppies, Jack’s
Mannequin and Tremolo. rehearsals.com also features
insightful interviews and private clinics with legendary sidemen and
studio greats who have logged time with Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton,
Stevie Wonder, Dr. Dre and Fiona Apple.
With his highly-anticipated Arista Records debut slated for release on
December 5, Taylor Hicks is set to launch from his American Idol
beginnings to become a major voice in pop music. Vibe Magazine raves in
the November issue, “Calling him the new
Elvis and saying he dances funny misses the point: Taylor Hicks is the
embodiment of the last fifty years of popular music.”
To catch a glimpse of this legend in the making as he performs “What’s
Going On” and “Hell
of a Day”, log on to www.rehearsals.com
