CNSC News rehearsals.com to Award Broadjam Song Contest Winner

BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--rehearsals.com, CenterStaging’s online digital portal powered by MLB.com, announced today that they will choose one grand prize winner of a song contest created by Broadjam, one of the fastest-growing global communities of independent musicians and fans on the web. The grand prize-winning artist will receive a half-day, high-definition video production package valued at more than $75,000, including a recording of a live performance of their selected song at CenterStaging’s state-of-the-art Burbank facilities.

Song submissions are currently open to any genre or style of music on broadjam.com until March 19, 2007. After intense competition and peer review on Broadjam, rehearsals.com will pick the grand prize winner on March 30, 2007. Submission details are available at http://www.broadjam.com/submissions/details/index.asp?contest_id=146.

“rehearsals.com is committed to finding the best new talent of ALL musical genres to showcase on our site,” said Michael Sandoval, Executive Vice President, A&R, Music Publishing, and Business Administration, CenterStaging. “Providing Broadjam a grand prize of this magnitude should bring out the best acts for what we believe will be a great competition.”

“rehearsals.com has created one of the most state of the art rehearsal and video production rooms in the industry. We are delighted to be working with them and offering our members an opportunity to shoot a world class video,” said Roy Elkins, CEO and founder of Broadjam.com.
